So it's always like this, isn't it? Big burst at the beginning, then slow fade out to black. We're in the slow fade, I suppose. But you've done your job. I signed up so that I wouldn't have to work for a few minutes. That was definitely accomplished. Like a month ago. And now, I need to work. And I shall. Right now.

The Printing Party

Tonight, Cathy and I emptied the Furnald printer of paper with our MASSIVE TOMES. :)

Actually, it really was pretty damn exciting. Seeing page after page of writing (my writing!) get spit out of that groaning machine really made me feel good, really made the accomplishment of the month-long endeavor take a tangible form - 81 double-sided sheets of words words words!

Now it's time to start editing - it's going to be so incredibly difficult, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. A new stage of the journey - I want to one day see bookshelves.
